[IRCNews] Broad Ripple Hamfest this Saturday

This Saturday, August 1, from 7:00 am until 1:00 pm will be the annual Broad
Ripple Hamfest.  This will be held adjacent to the home of Joe and Betty
Lobraico (K9OOA and K9OOB).  Joe and Betty will provide donuts and coffee
starting at 7:00.  Then, the Indianapolis Radio Club will provide hot dogs,
buns, condiments, and softdrinks starting at 11:00 am.  Everyone is asked to
bring a pitch in dish and their own plates, cups and utensils.  In addition
to the food, there will be a tailgate only hamfest going on.  Everyone is
welcome to bring their goods to sell, trade, or give away.  There is no
charge for admission or for a spot to peddle your wares.

In addition, there will be a Blind Draw Donation drawing for 6 Yaesu Radios!
There will be 4 HTs, a dual band mobile and an HF rig given away.  There are
only 300 tickets available for this drawing, and winning tickets are put
back in the hat, so multiple wins are possible.  Blind Draw Dontation
tickets are only $10 each.
