Recently, a technical job recruiter had a telephone conversation with Jay
Willever, K9LJW, the club's treasurer. She is trying to fill some positions
in the state for radio technicians. Here is a portion of the email that she
sent to Jay:

I have been working with a company in the state of Indiana that is looking
for people who have two way radio experience. There are multiple locations
across the state and the company is beginning to hire in its Indianapolis
location. I was hoping to network a little more with the members of the
Indianapolis Radio Club and see if there is anyone that would be interested
in the Radio Technician Positions. The top three skills needed for the
position is experience with 2 way radios, Motorola equipment, and experience
installing the equipment into vehicles. The pay for position is very
relevant to how much experience the person has and due to this it can be an
entry level person to someone that has a few years of experience. Although
certifications such as a CET would be a plus, the last two people we have
placed into the position has not had any kind of certification.

This position is for a full time position that will begin as a 6 month
contract to hire then go full time permanent. The company is looking to
bring someone on the team full time so after those 6 months if the candidate
is happy and enjoying the position they will be hired on full time.

If you are interested in pursuing one of these positions, contact Megan
Moore, the recruiter, at 317.810.7552.

73,
Ken
