Ronald C. Williams 

82, of West Lowell Road passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Silver Oaks
Health Campus in Columbus. 

Formerly of Indianapolis, Ron was born to Ronald S. Williams and Lorraine
Vincent (Linadean Hain) on August 25, 1929 in Allegan, Michigan. 

Ron was in the graduating class of 1947 at T.C. Howe High School and
attended Ball State University. He worked in the field of electronic
engineering. Ron worked for several companies including RCA, Thomas &
Skinner, Carson Manufacturing and later on with his own home-based company,
Avatar Magnetics. 

Ron was an amateur radio operator most of his life. His original call
letters beginning in 1950 were W9JVF and in the late 1990's, he was licensed
under W9YZ. He was a life member of Indianapolis Radio Club (IRC) and the
American Radio Relay League (ARRL). 

Ron married his sweetie, Mildred E. (Bailey) in November 22, 1949 in Muncie
and they celebrated 62 years of marriage. They raised six daughters
together. 

A private family graveside service is planned. Interment will take place at
Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.

Ron is survived by his wife, Milly Williams; daughters, Laura (Robert)
Keller of Seattle, Washington, Jane Williams Ferris of Chicago, Ruth (Roy)
Goode of Columbus, Carol J. Williams of Carmel; 8 grandchildren and 5
great-grandchildren. 

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Laurence O. Williams;
daughters, Marcia Evelyn Williams and Barbara Ellen Williams.
