It's a fun one! I encourage everyone to participate. Remember to submit a
log even if you only have one contact! Put down Indianapolis Radio Club as
your club, please.

See Mel's note below.

73,
Ken, KJ9B

Mark your calendars for Saturday May 5, for our annual Indiana QSO party.
Indiana weather has been really crazy lately, but as it always does, spring
IS coming! So plan to get out and about, but save some time on May 5 for ham
radio to show the world that Indiana has an active ham population ....

Tim K9WX maintains our activity map ( http://hdxcc.org/inqp/activity.php )
and there are a lot of counties with no calls in them. We know many of you
plan to be on, but we won't put your call on the map unless you tell Tim
your plans

If you'd lke to try mobile or portable (Field Day style) operating, here's
your chance to shake down the equipment setup. Or maybe just fire up the rig
in the shack for a few hours and call CQ... you WILL get takers. In the
past we received hundreds of logs, and we expect hundreds this year... so
you know somebody will be looking for YOU.

Please let Tim know your plans sooner rather than later, as the mobile
stations need to plan their routes and will concentrate on counties with
little or no planned activity. Tim's email is timk9wx at gmail.com

Hope to work you on May 5

Mel KJ9C
