Subject: Volunteers Needed: Indianapolis Half Marathon on Saturday October 6th

 

Fellow Hams,

We are still looking for volunteers to support the Indianapolis Half Marathon at Fort Ben on Saturday October 6th.  Ham Radio communicators will be assigned to locations along the marathon route to provide communications to event staff and public safety.  Volunteers will need to be on location by 8:00 AM and they are released as the end passes their location.  We need 5 more volunteers for this event.

If you are interested in using your Ham Radio for public service then this is the opportunity for you.  Please reply to this email if you are interested in volunteering.

You can also forward this email to any Ham Radio operator that may be interested in volunteering.
