Good morning All,

There has been some confusion / apprehension about the announcement below.
We realize that there are many who don't' routinely do contests / QSO
parties (including me) and that some of our members are new and don't know
what they are about.

First, take a look at this to understand what the INQP is about:
http://www.hdxcc.org/inqp/

The Zoom meeting and the use of the RCA Club 146.88 repeater are not
official parts of the IN QSO Party, but rather a way of allowing us to "get
together" like we would if all the COVID-19 restrictions were not in place.
There is no requirement or need to use either Zoom or the repeater to
participate in the INQP.

Think of Zoom as a way to have discussions with other club members and show
off your station while operating. Use it to get technical help while
operating or just for comradery while the event is going on. You can
always turn your video off if that makes you nervous or just enter and leave
the meeting anytime you wish. Same goes for the repeater but it's easier to
come and go as you please. An added benefit in the repeater is that the RCA
Club and Dave Gingrich K9DC are experimenting with linking it into the
CROSSRDS reflector enabling Echolink and IRLP stations from around the state
to all join the "Party".

I hope this explanation encourages more of you to get involved in the
Indiana QSO Party on Saturday and to make use of Zoom and the RCA Repeater.

73 and Stay Healthy!
Jeff

Hello. I hope everyone is staying healthy, and able to get outside for
exercise from time to time, while keeping your distance....

As was mentioned in our last Zoom meeting, the Indianapolis Radio Club will
be hosting a Zoom get together to go over tactics, etc. for the Indiana QSO
Party. We also can get together on the RCA Radio Club's repeater at 146.88
(-) with 88.5 PL. Our thanks to the RCA club for the use of their repeater.

Following are the details on the Zoom meeting. IN AN EFFORT TO AVOID
PROBLEMS, PLEASE DO NOT POST THIS INFORMATION ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR ANY OTHER
REFLECTORS.
