Hams-

I have a small window of opportunity for hams wanting a handheld satellite
antenna. AMSAT South Africa developed a dual-band handheld satellite
antenna for the YOTA program that is low-cost and easy to assemble and
disassemble. It sold well to hams in South Africa and now they are opening
the sales to the world. You need to buy at least SIX to get them.

Here's the info: http://www.amsatsa.org.za/DualbandYagi.htm NOTE: it comes
with a bag, but you have to terminate the RG-58 coax with your own
connector. There are four elements you just slide into place and two that
you screw on so it's quick to assemble and disassemble.

*$86* to my house. That covers currency exchange fees, international wire
fees, and shipping costs (which is the bulk of it). I'll be glad to bring
the antenna to a meeting and give it to you or you can pick it up from my
house.

If you are interested, please *email me directly to davids at mediamachine.com
<davids at mediamachine.com> You have until Mon Feb 3 at 11:59 pm* to let me
know if you are interested and I'll tell you the ways you can get me the
money.

As a comparison, the Elk antenna is $130 with no bag and you have to make a
handle out of something like PVC. The Arrow antenna is $185 with bag.
