Again, we'll be sailing aboard the superb Hylas 54' Blue Pearl, the same boat brought up from the Bahamas in May. The voyage plan is to depart Oxford, Maryland (on the Eastern Shore of Upper Cheasepeake Bay on/about the 5th, a 2-day transit South to the mouth of the Bay, await a favorable weather window for a run for a Gulf Stream crossing and then proceeding to Bermuda. Blue Pearl will pause for the later half of November in Bermuda before resuming on/about December 2nd her Southbound trek to Antigua. While I'll be the only HAM aboard, the entire crew is eager to make many Maritime Mobile contacts and I will be pleased to send QSL cards post-voyage reflecting ocean square contacts. 20 Meter Schedule: As usual we will attempt to check in daily with Maritime Mobile Service Net (14.300). We try to accomplish this as soon as possible after noon (1200 EST). In our end of transmission message we'll announce that we're changing frequencies to accept contacts. On even numbered days (for example, November 8th) we'll move to 14.285 and on odd numbered days (for example, November 7th) we'll move to 14.315.
