He was always there to share his opinion, as others did. </p>
<p class="yiv9318481271MsoNoSpacing">Richard was active in most of the ham radio assisted operating events such as the Mini Marathon, 500 Festival Parade, ADA Tour-de-Cure, Indpls Half Marathon, along with others.</p>
<p class="yiv9318481271MsoNoSpacing">He hung out on the 146.700 Repeater and was very active with Skywarn, mostly being the liaison from the local net on the 146.760 to the statewide net on the 146.970.</p>
<p class="yiv9318481271MsoNoSpacing">Being blind did not stop Richard from doing anything he set out to do. He volunteered for pretty much everything. </p>
<p class="yiv9318481271MsoNoSpacing">The past few years, Richard owned and operated a vending machine refilling business which kept him busy enough to be off the radio a lot.</p>
<p class="yiv9318481271MsoNoSpacing">His voice will be missed --- 73 Richard, you were a good friend.<br clear="all"></p>
